About the Role
Quality assurance is moving beyond manual scripts and standard checklists. As a Trainee QA Engineer (AI), you will sit at the intersection of modern software testing and emerging AI technology.
In this role, you will leverage AI tools to accelerate test creation, automate bug detection, and evaluate AI-driven features. While traditional manual testing and exploratory verification remain essential parts of the job, your focus will be on learning and applying next-generation AI testing workflows to ensure our applications are robust, reliable, and high-performing.
What You’ll Do
- AI Tool Integration: Use modern AI testing tools and autonomous agents to generate test cases, analyze application behavior, and spot edge cases faster.
- Manual & Exploratory Testing: Perform targeted manual testing, usability checks, and exploratory sessions to catch subtle user-experience issues that tools might miss.
- AI Feature Evaluation: Evaluate the accuracy, performance, and safety of AI-driven features within our products (e.g., assessing model outputs, prompt edge cases, and hallucinations).
- Defect Tracking & Documentation: Write clear, actionable bug reports, detailing reproducible steps for both traditional software flaws and AI model inconsistencies.
- Test Automation Assistance: Work alongside senior engineers to build, run, and maintain simple automated test suites.
What We Are Looking For
- AI Fluency: Familiarity with generative AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) and a keen interest in how AI can optimize modern workflows.
- Analytical Mindset: A sharp eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a natural curiosity to figure out how software breaks.
- Core Technical Understanding: Basic knowledge of web/mobile technology ecosystems (familiarity with basic scripting, APIs, or developer tools is a strong bonus).
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly describe complex bugs and collaborate smoothly with developers and product teams.
- Eagerness to Learn: No prior QA experience required, we will train you on our specific testing frameworks and AI tools.
